Why does some food taste better hot/warm and others when they are cold?
Like warm soda is really bad. Cold coffee is bad. Cold pizza just doesn't taste as good as warm pizza. Cold oatmeal is disgusting. You get the idea.

I think it is because you are used to your food being served a certain way!! I know that in some countries,they laugh because we keep our milk in the refrigerator and that we drink cow's milk too! Some countries drink goats milk,which is almost unheard of in the USA.
I couldn't stomach oatmeal if it was cold,cold hot chocolate,cold pizza,cold meatloaf,cold steak,cold mashed potatoes and gravy,etc...
Sometimes SOME people are just so lazy,they will eat certain foods that should be warmed up cold because they are just too lazy to heat it up in the microwave. Could you imagine warm Jello or warm yogurt,EWW GROSS!! :-(
Maybe it is just because it is how they are always served...Think about it, if we grew up eating cold oatmeal, maybe warm oatmeal would taste bad to us. Good question, though.

depends on your taste buds...some soda is good warm like sprite & coke. bbq hot or warm cold sometimes is good. but the cold pizza & oatmeal i agree. it's the flavor of the item to
