Why do I have odd cravings for...?!
Why do I have odd cravings for...?
Dairy as in milk, cheese, yoghurt, ice cream, pickles, avacados, walnuts, peanuts, and last unrelated food item is salmon or any other fish (preferably grilled). And no there is no way that I can be pregnant; I'd have to be having sex for that to happen don't I? So, if anyone has any scientific explanation as to why I am constantly eating these same things all day (for the past 10 days or so and I'm absolutely not joking) I would appreciate it very much...

ok people I'm 5.4 and barely weigh 100 pounds, I work out a lot and eat really healthy otherwise, never had such odd cravings before, could it be hormones playing tricks on me or something else. I really love the way avacados taste by the way...

A person's appetite actually changes every 7-9 years...Foods that you may not have liked before, you now might...
Also, these things may be a way for your body to tell you that it needs something more or is deficient in some way...Like fishes and nuts are rich in protein and milk, cheese and yogurt are all rich in calcium...I would really look at the other food items and your diet and see how balanced/unbalanced it is and go from there- it may also be a good idea to start taking a multi-vitamin if you don't already...
Hope this helps!
maybe you just need a change in your diet
im not saying you severely overweight but c'mon, avacados... i mean nobody has craving for avoacados....!
Caffeine causes cravings. Stop the caffeine, stop the cravings.
Thats weird. For more info go to the doctors office. Or go to www.discoveryhealth.com, you can have a health problem or just food you crave. ;)
I've been having some weird cravings too lately,(strawberry icecream & sweet gherkins) and I've read that when you have a craving it is actually your body's way of telling you that you need more hydration. So allegedly, if you drink one or two big glasses of water the craving will subside. (We'll see!)
eat the same thing for another 4 days. i heard my mum talking to my brother (about me) saying "let her eat all the hazelnut chocolate cookies she wants. after 2 weeks, she'll get bored..."
Usually your body has a way of telling you when it is lacking something...example the dairy you may need calcium. Salmon, avocados and walnuts have omega 3 fatty acids which are good for your heart. If you are concerned about health problems go get a physical by your Doctor.
Everything you are eating is good for you so don't worry about it.
I think a lot of cravings are our body's way of letting us know what we need, like in your case maybe a calcium deficiency. Once you get enough of what you need your body will stop craving that type of food. Some of the foods you mentioned have a lot of good fat that we are supposed to eat.
But as with anything, in moderation!
I have found that as i've gotten older my taste buds have changed. I've started doing this in my 30's & now am 42. I eat things now i never would've dreamed of eating when i was younger. my body kind of tells me what i need. there are times i can;t get enough salad,or when i feel run down spinnach makes me feel so much better.my body gets the cravings.
