Which taste better and why.....fresh water fish or salt water ones...sea?!

Question:

Which taste better and why.....fresh water fish or salt water ones...sea?

I like both and depends on how they are cooked.

Answers:
Not sure you can say one taste better than the other really, the taste of fish is really how it is cooked and the type of fish it is. Some fresh water fish taste really "fishy" or strong flavored, and then there are salt water fish that are almost tasteless. A good cook can make most any fish taste absolutely wonderful.

Fresh water tastes best der

The fish I like are both Salt and fresh. However,The fresh caught is the best.My personal favorite is Mahi-Mahi or also called Dorado. Some fish tend to be Gamier. That is stronger tasting. Some Game fish I caught off Mexico and California have a dark meat layer, that is a stronger tasting area. You just have to mask it if its to strong.

SEA FOOD-hands down. Sushi! (can't do fresh water fish sushi-style unless you want to become a secondary mammal host to some really nasty parasites.) The ocean has a fantastic variety of flavors, too. Not tasteless to me.

It's a matter of individual preference. I love all kinds of fish, but my very favorite is Blue Gill. We caught them in lakes in Louisiana when I was a kid. They are great pan fish.
