Dude, you are one sick puppy! I've traveled most of the world and eaten some weird stuff and even what would be considered by many to be the family pets, but NEVER have I, nor do I want to, eat a live octopus.

OMG you cant be seriouse can u?EEWWWWW

I guess so if that substance that they emit is poisonous. Have you ever eaten anything alive? Why not confess it here and get it off your chest. Either you are a psychopath or just too darn curious (or both).

Theoretically, one can die from eating anything.

If your concern involves a writhing, frantic, beaked shell-less mollusk eating its way out of you, rest assured that your stomach acids will make short work of any flesh you may consume.

I am currently unaware of any substances found in octopods that are immediately toxic to humans.

Pufferfish (Fugu), on the other hand, will not try to eat its way out, but, if prepared and served improperly, will guarantee you will never sign the dinner check.

yep sure can
