Fray Bentos - both the chicken & mushroom and the Steak & kidney pies with the soggy pastry are they chav food or not. what's your opinion of them?

Answers:
both are sunday lunch for schemie tinks who wear soveriegn rings and shell suits.

I donno lol..sounds like a **** meal to me

not that chav they r allright

btw i am guessing you live in England me too but there are a LOT of americans on Y!A that do not know what chavs are!! LOL

I wouldn't say they were chav food, but they're not very nice.

good if you fancy being obese, with a heart condition and various other life threatening stuff. Should imagine it is a chav food. Is chavdom what you aspire to?

who on earth would eat a pie out of a tin?? ..wouldnt say chav food..just yukky food!

No. not chavvy at all.
I think i'd class them as pensioner food along with corned beef, spam and nice biscuits.
Although secretly I really love the fray b steak and kidney pie, thier pastry is so fluffy

i tried them for the first time the other day an they tasted nice!
i know what a chav is but do u mean that the pies are what chavs would eat?
chavs would go more for the supermarkets cheaper label. frey bentos quite pricey!lol
x

Not really chavvy, as that would mean putting the oven on!! I always think they are old peoples dinners :)

whats chav, dont know what your onabout so carnt help you, sorry.

Not even a chav eats this rubbish. I don't know who does.

The pastry is only stodgy if you cook in a microwave.Cooked in a hot oven it browns and crisps up nicely.I like them and I'm certainly no chav.

I thought pensioners ate those. Chavs eat Pot Noodles, chips with cury sauce, and kebabs, don't they?

yuk

no i think kebabs are more chav

Nah, can't be chav food. There's too much involved in cooking a fray bentos pie for a chav to be able to safely negotiate.
Chav food. Ready meals, kebabs, pizza, curries and Chinese food. Anything that can either be microwaved or delivered. :)
