I need to do homework. I want to know that what is the taste of Japanese food and Chinese food. Sweet, spicy, or something? Can somebody help me with this question? Today? Please!!!!!

Answers:
Chinese = all of the tastes you can think of. Depending on the region it is made. Sichuan is very spicy. Shanghai food is very sweet. Other regions steam a lot of food, or make it salty. Cantonese have teh sweet & sour.

Japanese food is very very different. More focus on freshness, taste and presentation. Japanese are of mind that the more you cook food, the less it is a natural food source. Hence a lot is raw (sushi, sashimi), or steamed or fried real quick (tempura).

Makes me hungry....

It wo0uld be hard to explain the japanese food but its more of a balance flavor unlike the chinese food that are generally sweet and spicy.

Order a small portion from a Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Taste them. Then your homework will be believable.

japanese are popular for their sushi and makis and tempura.. so just imagine the taste of raw fish... and for the maki- rice, crab stick, and mango...

chinese foods is the best! it can be sweet or spicy.. chinese are known for their noodles and dimsum
