Answers:
What is so bad about it//// It's an alternative to rice, noodles, bread....complex carbohydrates. It's the portion and what's added along with it that matters. Take carbs in moderation as it's a source of energy and exercise is the key to keep in shape.

If it is organic you can eat as much as you want.

It's not that bad,
but u've 2 know somthing...
pasta will be converted to a sugar in ur body, so little sport 3-4 times every week will be great , enjoy to eat it...it's really so good, also...don't put too much cheese.

Pasta isn't bad if you eat whole wheat in smaller amounts. Make sure the ingredients list whole wheat in the 1st two ingredients. This goes for bread as well. Staying away from carbs is a fad. Since you are a vegetarian you need to watch not to eat too much though. I hope you are getting enough protein. i.e. nuts, soy, beans, etc.

I wanna know who started this bad carb thing. It's great for energy.
Whole wheat pasta is best. It's usually the stuff you put on top of pasta that adds calories- weight to the body.
Bread is different. I think the yeast in bread makes it stay in your body longer. Whole grain is best again and maybe one slice a day. When you cut out or cut back on bread you'll notice almost immediately that your "pot belly" or Love handles" almost disappear.
Also the firmer the pasta when you cook it the less sugars. the mushier it is the more it is starchy .

Why not make your own pasta, it's actually very easy just time consuming.

The store bought pasta has lots of preservatives but fresh pasta doesn't

It's Flour, water, and salt, you can substitute the water with eggs if you like but that's all that is needed.

You can make as much as you want and freeze it in dinner size packets.

The advantage of it is, it cooks in minutes as opposed to half an hour for store bought pasta and it tastes better and much healthier.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about the carbs too much. As long as you are eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly, pasta and bread are not going to make you gain a ton of weight. Even being vegetarian, you can still get all the nutrients you need everyday (peanut butter for protein instead of meat, etc. which I'm sure you know). Basically just use your head. If all you eat is pasta and bread, then yeah you're going to gain weight (unless you are an Olympic athlete). But if you are generally taking care of yourself, having toast with breakfast and spaghetti for dinner won't hurt you.

Everything in moderation as they say. You can try switching to the whole grain types of pasta and breads which are supposed to be better for you.

By the way, organic does not mean that you can eat all you want. It's just grown differently (without the use of chemical fertilizers, hormones, etc.)
