Think a chocolate cake would be corny for a wedding cake?!

Question:

Think a chocolate cake would be corny for a wedding cake?

its a chocolate cake with strawberries all over it

Answers:
No, a rich delicate chocolate cake can be an upscale treat. But don't load it with chocolate chips or corny additives. Make it simple and elegant.

NOT AT ALL.OUR WEDDING CAKE WAS CHOCOLATE AND IT WAS DELICIOUS.THE STRAWBERRIES WOULD BE WONDERFULL.DOES ANYTHING SAY LOVE MORE THAN CHOCOLATE AND STRAWBERRIES?

If you ever watch the wedding cake competitons on TV you will know that there is no such thing as an unusual cake anymore. I have seen them of statutes of Elvis, designed like abstract art, and made from all sorts of ingredients. You should go with the cake you like. Most people never even eat traditional wedding cake and it goes to waste. More people might be willing to eat it if it looks like something special.

the wedding couple should get what ever kin of cake they want i think it sounds great wedding cake is usually boring
have a happy day and a blessed life

korkie

I definatley think that Chocolate cake is not traditional wedding type. but you are the wife/husband, so i would choose anything that i would want. so if ytou want a chocolate cake for your special night/morning, than i say GO FOR IT!

No, that wouldnt be corny at all.

=]

i'm having a chocolate cake at my wedding and i don't care what anyone one else thinks it's our day and they don't need to eat it but i bet they will

Sounds beautiful!

It's your wedding and you hold it the way you want it.

Not at all. I had a 3 tier cake at my wedding. The bottom 2 tiers were white, but the top layer was choclate because 1 it was chocolate and that's my favorite, and 2 I made my own cake and needed to have something gluten free for myself and a few of my guests.

Not corny at all I think its a great idea. I'm sure your guests would love it
