Why do McDonald's hambuger buns taste better than regular bread?!

Question:

Why do McDonald's hambuger buns taste better than regular bread?

Also, why do their fries taste so good?

Answers:
The buns taste good because they have a lot of sugar in them. When you are diabetic and stop eating sugar, you can really taste the sugar in McD buns.

The fries used to be good, but they stopped frying them in beef tallow, and now they taste bland.

they put magic beans in it!!!!!

The buns taste better because they are BUNS, not regular bread. Lol. And their fries taste good because of the oil they are cooked in!

=]

they coat there fries in sugar before they fry them. Not sure about the buns, I think they put sugar in them too.

anything mcd tastes better then anything else

I don't think it is the bun so much as what is under the top of it. As for the fires they have different fryers for each of there deep fried items and they change there oil more often.

Erm-thats your opininian...........but...mayb... because all foods that are bad for you taste so good?............................

i love their fries too its all the salt the oil and grease that does that because u can make them at home by the thin fries and deep fry them in vegetable oil and salt them
also i think grease from burger rubs on buns leaving its essence and all the processed ingredients salt flower probably sugar alot and baking powder baking soda and a flour that may be different then reg

high fructose corn syrup in the batter

Hamburger buns in general as well as McDonalds have some ingredients that most breads do not have. In particular the buns I like best have egg in them. The shortening, fat ratio is differnt as well as the flour. That is what I remember anyway.
Sometims they are called "Sunny Buns". I used to have a recipe for hamburger and hot dog buns but cannot find them. Havn't seen them in years.

If I find the recipe I will post it.

The fries are cooked in trans fats so thats why they taste better and they have heaps of salt.
The buns have a different taste to normal ones because the amount of sugar put in the maccas ones!

Added Sugar
