Chocolate fountain?!

Question:

Chocolate fountain?

i just got a chocolate fountain...but i dunno what type of chocolate to use. is there any special type that is only for fountains or can i just melt any chocolate and put it in the fountain....i need help quick! thanks

Answers:
2 (12 ounce) bags chocolate chips
3 unsweetened chocolate squares, chopped
3/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup Kahlua (optional)

Place the chocolate and oil into a large glass bowl.
Microwave on med. high for about 2 min's, stir, then continue microwaving and stirring until the chocolate is liquid and smooth, without any unmelted chocolate pieces.
Stir in the Kahlua if desired.
Pour the chocolate into the bowl at the base of the unit.
Let the fountain run for 2 min's then shut it off for about 30 seconds to eliminate air gaps.
If the chocolate does not flow smoothly, add another 1/8 cup of oil to the chocolate in the base

chocolate

melt chocalate chips, it doesn't matter what kind but buy hersheys if you want them to taste really good and don't buy semi sweet ones because those are gross

Depending on the fountain, usually you can melt any kind of chocolate. Read the instructions that came with it, and if it dpesnt specify, then I would say you could most likely use any kind of chocolate.

=]

you will need to add oil to your chocolate

salad oil
corn oil
vegetable oil

It depends on the type of chocolate you prefer. You can also experiment and add raspberry liquer to the chocolate and have raspberry Chocolate, or try orange, mint, cherry or whatever you fancy! Fountains can be such fun! An upgrade to the fondue! Have fun!

look at the back of the box a see if it comes with a special type of chocolate. if not, get what ever chocolate u want.

you can pretty much melt any type of chocolate...but make sure it is in little pieces though...i would say hershey chocolate is probably the best

My friend has one and it recommended in the instruction manual that it was best to use chocolate with a high cocoa content. This is because it flows better in the fountain. If you use chocolate thats got a lower cocoa content (normally cheaper brands), they recommend you have to add vegetable oil to it. So its better to use a good quality chocolate so you don't have to add oil! Check the chocolate wrappers and compare the cocoa content of different brands. Make sure you break it up into small bits and read the instruction manual (our first attempt was a disaster haha) On the good side, if one chocolate doesn't work so well, you can just experiment with lots of others - yum =)

My son uses a brand by Chocomaker. It says on the package that it's compatible with Living Home and other chocolate fountains. It's really good. He bought it at Sam's. Though you can use any chocolate, you need to add a bit of oil to it, so unless you want to go through all that, just buy the dipping chocolate. I think this bag (4 pounds) was about $8.00.

Well it doesn't matter really!! Chocolate is chocolate right??
:)

Hershey is the best~~ use choc. chips tho...
but try getting chocolate w/ high cocoa content cuz it flows better n it just makes it look alot nicer too...

n about tht ?? u asked me...

lol~~ yea tht guy older than me is REALLY hot!!!
6-pack n everything!!!
lol~ plays basketball~~ n he's a hot quarterback!! lol
but see i'm being ttly impatient bout us bein 2gether....

and I haven't seen or talked 2 him since Decemeber...

but I saw his older bro end of April n he said that he wanted me to know tht he wants 2 talk to me really bad n has been thinking about the wedding he saw me at....

so I'm muslim, and in my religion, I have 2 have an arranged marriage.
As does he~ he is muslim as well...
His name is Jaffar...
his older brother, Zanfie,
recently was married to my cousin~~
their Walima/wedding day
was last December,
which is when we last saw each other.
I had seriously NOT noticed that he liked me....
but I'm sure he noticed I liked him cuz I kept glancing over at him n would fix my hair n sit up straight every time he'd enter the room...
but I was so hurt and annoyed all at once cuz he would JUST NOT LOOK AT ME!!!!
I thought he like hated my guts or something....
so I came back home, to Chicago,
and I saw the wedding movie HE made~~
I was shown in it more than the bride was!!!lol
then I found out from my cuz' s mom tht he REALLY liked me and had asked his mom to ask my parents for my hand in marriage~~ all my Dad said was "we'll see"

I wasn't supposed 2 know he liked me....
I'm not sure why...
but my Aunt told me secretly
n e ways...
so now I know....

I miss talking to him...

he lives all the way in Maryland, near DC...

I own a Chocolate Fountain business in the Caribbean, and I will recommend you to use the best ( from experience).

There is a special chocolate made for the chocolate fountain, it contains a higher % of Cocoa Butter, and thus YOU DONT NEED TO ADD OIL TO IT!!
All you have to do is microwave it, and pour it into the fountain.
The best quality is from Sephra , who also makes chocolate fountains. Check out www.Sephra.com, also there is a chocolate SF Signature Chocolate, that is made specifically to be used in the fountain.

Honestly, dont waste your time buying chocolate chips and adding oil, this taste HORRIBLE!
The sephra chocolate is absolutely delicious!
