Energy drink?!

Question:

Energy drink?

I had a mountain dew "tall boy" energy drink. It took nearly 3 hours to get a boost of energy at all. Is that normal? I want an energy drink that tastes good and works quick. What kind should I get?

Answers:
You should try Fullthrottle, but when you drink an enegry drink you usually have to be doing something active and not sitting around, so drink one and do something active to "jump start it"

I had a red bull before and I fell asleep right afterward, because I just sat around

Try Monster or Rockstar. Both of those work quickly (at least for me they do!) and taste pretty good.

7-11 carries the drink called booku there are 2 different sizes and in my opinion it gives a good kick compared to all the others there are 2 different flavors. try it out it has more caffeine then any other energy drink

Red Bull,Vault,Moutain Dew MDX,Monster And Gatorade.

Red Bull works quite well. But it does not taste that great in my opinion :(.

Endurox or Accelerade...both are more geared towards quick muscle recovery and increased hydration levels. I have found my lowest energy levels when I am dehydrated so energy drink or not these will keep your head up and your body strong to "keep going" with no crash.

You should know that most energy drinks contain high levels of sugar and caffeine. That's what can give you the "jitters" and then a "crash" which can be hard on your body.

I drink an energy drink that's kind of like Red Bull only it doesn't have all the sugar and caffeine. It works in minutes and lasts for hours. The main thing for me is that it is healthier than most energy drinks.

I found mine on line at www.carlshealthhelp.com/energy

My husband like Xs Energy drinks. They give you energy from B vitamins, not sugar or high amounts of Caffeine, so you don't wind up crashing in a couple of hours. They come in seven different flavors, with three of them being caffeine-free.
