Help! i made some ice cream and because the taste wasn't that nice,..?
i thawed it and mixed it with some more fruit puree. after i put back into the freezer, the ice cream is not creamy anymore, more like icy. how do i make it like creamy again?

I just remembered seeing take home chef. He talked about putting ice cream back in the ice cream feezer (maker). I think he said you should put your ice cream back in the ice cream freezer. You add some cream to it and run the machine until you have your smooth ice cream again.
That makes sense because Whipped cream or evaporated milk, melted marshmallows, beaten eggs, gelatin, rennet tablets and other ingredients are all additives used to prevent the formation of large ice crystals as well as to improve or vary flavor.
I'll give you a quarter, if you ask your mom to give you money to buy real ice cream.

You broke the emulsion that kept it creamy. That ice cream will not be creamy again. Begin again.
I read where if you add unflavored gelatin to ice cream, you can prevent ice crystals. you could try that...
Ice cream tip to prevent ice crystals
A tip to avoid ice crystals: Add 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin per 6 cups of ice cream mixture. Let the gelatin soften in 1/4 cup of the mixture, then gently heat it until it is dissolved. Add to the remaining mixture and proceed.
