Is broiling chicken healthier than baking?!

Question:

Is broiling chicken healthier than baking?

Answers:
First of all, cholesterol or fat content will not be affected by broiling or baking, but both cooking methods are healthier than deep frying in oil.

However, recent studies have shown that broiled foods do contain a higher level of carcinogens (cancer causing agents) and can be harmful if consumed heavily over a long period of time. So, from that perspective, baking is the healthier option.

I love to cook, so I keep up with food-related news.

I like to do both I think either is fine as long as its not in its own grease so put it over a rack on a pan so catches fats and juices that make chicken bad and lets it crisp up easily

sure is

broiling is in water right? I think baking is healthier, since broiling chicken might lose more nutrients.

I would have to say no.

Broiling often leaves the chicken uncooked on the inside, and burnt on the outside. Charring any meat makes it unhealthy, and some people will tell you that the molecules of badly burnt meat cause cancer. (I don't have evidence of that, though)

Baking is really the same thing..it just cooks slower on a lower heat so that the entire chicken is cooked. Broiling usually involves a high temperature for shorter periods of time, which, again, burns the outside and leaves the inside uncooked.
