Answers:
weird i know but it has a use, but useful only to the company making the hot-dogs!
nonfat dry milk or dried whole milk is used as an extender in the hot-dogs .. this way they can use less meat & have more quantity .. its amazing what they put in our food to cheat us but gives them more bang for the almighty dollar .. a reason you will see a percentage of protein on some pkgs of meat, because they add fillers/extenders to the product.

Without helping at all... I have to say: what isn't in hot dogs? LOL.

What hot dog brand is it? My package doesn't say anything about milk. Does yours have the cheese in it? That may be why.
