Would you buy a smoothie?!
Would you buy a smoothie?
If you were at a car boot sale uk would you purchase a 10z cup of smothie for £1. Myself and my friend are planing to attend car boot sales with an industrial smoothie machine to sell smoothies only two flavours undecieded yet. She reckons you can make £4000 in a day i think more like £400. Does any one have any experience or would you yourself buy a smoothie?

These smoothies are bought to drink there and then not to be taken home to be put in fridge.

As you can usually only get either tea/coffee,water or fizzy drinks at car boots smoothies would probably be seen as a welcome alternative. Personally I would only buy one that didn't contain banana as I hate the taste, but that's just my personal taste. £1 is quite dear for just a cup though - especially as people at car boot sales are usually trying to get things as cheap as possible!
I think I would rather buy pre packed from Tesco.
my mum was in the hospital and we were grateful for the one they had. we liked strawberry/banana and kiwi watermelon best
Sure, I think I would buy a smoothie under those circumstances. You won't make as much money as you think, but you might come out all right.
yes. they are great.
no i wouldnt i like to make my own at least then i know what goes into it,,,,,,,,
Don't know about the UK but here in Michigan you have to have the health department's permission to sell food. They issue a license that is good for "X" day. Typically, you pay your fee, they come out the day of the sale and inspect your facilities. And then, they can say no or yes that you can sell. If they say no, you're out your fee.
I would buy a smoothie though you might want to rethink the amount of flavors.
Nah.........!
i am an old smoothie.........
lol
I love smoothies but personally, I wouldn't buy a smoothie from a stall at a car boot sale.
As for the price though, it sounds reasonable.
Don't go for exotic fruits, you'll often find people are too scared to try something new. Stick to things people know.
If you haven't already, you need to check the food hygiene legislation. It's not always legal to just set up shop and sell food or drink like this.
I do wish you the best of luck though!
id be up for it, sounds like a good idea. u cud make some good money and 1 pound is a bargain
Yes i would, as long as it was 100 % fruit.
I agree £1 is a bargain
