What should I serve with these slow-cooked white beans with bacon and cornbread?!
What should I serve with these slow-cooked white beans with bacon and cornbread?
Something (meat or otherwise) that would compliment these two? Good suggestions, please.
I have most ingredients for anything.
Thanks.

Thanks to everyone for the great answers! I've decided to add some fried chicken and fresh corn on the cob.
I wanted too add something because I've got alot of mouths to feed tonight, and that alone seems a bit skimpy. The bacon in the beans is meant more for flavoring than a meat dish.

Fried chicken and some greens! Dang, I'm hungry now!!!!
something green like broccoli, brussel sprouts, peas, or salad
another idea is baby carrots
YUM!
Damn, what's your address again?
How about a "mess of greens" and some fried chicken.
gas-x
I think beans with bacon and cornbread is enough and a good combination, why do you want to add something?
Green beans go nicely with that meal. I've made it myself many times.
a grilled sirloin cooked on the BBQ medium rare, fresh corn on the cobb cooked on the BBQ too and an ice cold bottle of beer.
Good food, good friends, good times.
pot roast or roasted pork. Or fried chicken.
sounds like a meal already
maybe some honey barbeque wings or hot wings
as an appitizer with some cellery and
carrot sticks and ranch dressing.
mmmmm....I vote for sauteed garlic pork chops and collard greens. And if you don't like collard greens, escarole is a perfect side to white beans!
Yummy.
Pork Chops would be yummy with those, though just what you have is fine. Might want to make some greens or spinach.
I always fry up some sliced potatoes with onions, get them good and brown. They always go well with beans and cornbread.
I agree with Peanut. That is a complete meal, so maybe a nice green salad.
