Why is there a light in the fridge and not one in the freezer?!

Question:

Why is there a light in the fridge and not one in the freezer?

Answers:
because the fridge is obviously way more important.

i was seriously wondering this the other day though. maybe the light would defrost the food????? i have no idea.

the light bulb could not withstand the freezing temps.

My freezer has a light.

There is a light in my freezer.

Because your lightbulb is burned out. The freezer, at least my freezer does anyway, has a light as well as the refrigerator.

Even if there were a light in the freezer, you'd still have to sit there and wonder what in the heck is in that tin foil!

The bulb's filament will freeze which will make inoperable.
