Why does the taste of food seem to change a bit when you eat it outside?!

Question:

Why does the taste of food seem to change a bit when you eat it outside?

Answers:
that is an awesome question ;)
Not really sure of the answer, but I know when you eat, a big part of taste is smell, so maybe the smell dissipates when you're outside? and maybe you're bombarded by so much other stimuli it overrides the taste..
just a guess..

It is taking in flavors and aromas from the area. Like Trees Grass and Flowers

maybe because the air is fresher outside. In-home air is much more polluted...

There is actually a Philosopher, his name escapes me, but says that it depends upon our mood how food will taste like and how our world will be. If we look out at the world positively, things will never taste so bad. So maybe you get a different sensation when you eat outside than inside...

It doesnt... your body changes to the outside setting and you "think" the food taste is changing
