How many slices of cheese are in a pound?!

Question:

How many slices of cheese are in a pound?

Meunster cheese...deli style packaging.....

Answers:
Would depend on how thick you sliced the cheese. I could make 4 slices to a pound or I could make 16.

about 10-14 if thin sliced

it depends on how thick the slices are.
if each slice weighs an ounce... then 16 slices

If each slice is roughly an ounce, than maybe 14 to 16.

It really depends on the thickness of the slice. it could be sliced anywhere from 1/2 -2 ounces per slice. Most likely though the slices are around 1 ounce a piece so there would be 16 slices per pound.

Depending on the thickness of the cut, but on a 1 1/2" thick slice there are 18 slices.

10-15. really depends on the cheese

I think one ounce per slice, so in that case, sixteen slices.
