Question:

I am hungry right now...what should i eat?

i sent a post before on what i ate today. ill list it again

breakfast:
Cup of orange juice
Life Cinnamon Cereal w/ skim milk

Few hours later:
Nutri-Grain Bar [apple flavored]
Bottle of Water

3 p.m:
Veggie burger
2 snowball rolls
Granola Bar
Iced tea [not the bad kind.]

I want to lose a few pounds...i dont wanna eat a meal because i will be having dinner soon so any healthy snacks?


Answers:
You need more protein in your diet. Seriously. You are eating mostly carbs there.

I'd go for a protein based snack like cottage cheese or 1 or 2 hard boiled eggs. That will give you roughly 15g of LEAN protein and provide about 150 calories. If you go for the cottage cheese, that'll give you some good bone building calcium as a bonus. :)

Popcorn is good.

Eat some more food, you're not eating enough at all!
Eat another veggie burger maybe? Fruit, veggies, nuts, something ANYTHING!

A piece of fruit, a protein drink.

Try an apple or an orange.

instant pudding, banana, or maybe some yogurt

a cup of cottage cheese with nuts and raisins

Carrots are really satisfying to munch on - crunchy, sweet, a texture that makes you feel like you're really eating something especially with all that chewing....

If I am really hungry, I eat grapes, 2 pieces of cheese, and crackers. But you can mix it around some. different types of fruit, just crackers and cheese, just cheese and grapes! anyway you want. If you're thirsty too, drink milk with it. I hope my suggestion helps!

I would check my calories, you are eating a lot of granola bars, and they can be rather high in calories, for a quik snack a small apple, or orange and a bottle of water should do it.. you definately need some salad material, and perhaps some grated cheese and a boiled egg for dinner. jello is fairly local for dessert.

wow ur not eating enough..AT ALL!! maybe you can have some fruit, veggies, nuts, and soup. :)

Any kind of fruit or vegetable is a good snack. Some cookies are made low in calorie and they taste good.
