Can the green leaves off fesh radishes be eaten and how do you cook them?!

Question:

Can the green leaves off fesh radishes be eaten and how do you cook them?

Answers:
Yes! They have a peppery flavor and are also good raw in salad or on a sandwich. You can cook them as you would other leafy greens.

Start with about seven cups of raw leaves for each cup of cooked greens that you want.
Rinse them very well!
Take off the stems.
Bring enough water to cover the greens to a boil.
Add about 1/2-1 teaspoons of salt per quart of water.
Add cleaned, stemmed greens.
Stir until the greens begin to wilt. Cover and cook for about seven minutes, then drain, and rinse with cold water.
Press out as much of the water as you can.
Cut the leaves into small pieces.
You can warm them up and eat them alone or add a little good quality vinegar to cut the bitterness.
Or use greens in pasta recipes, or mix with a little Olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice for use in a side dish with black-eyed peas or beans.
Enjoy!

I have eaten them raw, while eating fresh radishes, but I have never cooked them. Sorry I cant help much!

I have never heard of this.

Yes, you can eat them. Might be difficult at first, but you'll get used to it. Also, try mustard green fresh leaves.

Yes, radish tops can be eaten. Prepare them in the way you would prepare any greens, like collard or mustard greens. They are more tender, I believe, and have heard they are good sauteed in olive oil, salt, and garlic, but then most anything is.
