Why does popcorn stick to your tounge?!

Question:

Why does popcorn stick to your tounge?

Answers:
It is like a dry sponge trying to absorb moisture. It sticks and melts as it absorbs the moisture on your tongue. It is corn and corn has gluten in it too.

because it loves you.

because your tongue is wet

I think it is because of ur saliva

It's the glue.

because its really dry and your tounge is wet.

i dont know i hate it

B/c it's dry and you tongue is wet. Honestly haha i don't know. Maybe the fluffiness of it makes it melt onto your tongue. That sounds about right!

the first one was funny! but i think its because its so dry so it sticks to whatever wetness there is.

popcorn DONT stick to my tongue !!! who told you that? id know it before you did anyhow. GEESH !!!!

extreme hacks

because your tongue is wet and the popcorn is not

Ah the physics of a popped kernal. Cause of it's delicious salty coating perhaps. Cause of its absorbant spongy texture? Or maybe it's cause you put so damn much in your mouth at once it's the only way the body can prevent you from choking to death.
