Question:

What are some of the Pons And Cons To Makeing Something....?

Homemade...

What are some of the pros and cons of buying it store-bought?

Answers:
Pros's for homemade
you know what your putting in it.
you get satisfaction from making a meal from scratch.
you can sometimes make it cheaper than processed meals.
you can variate some ingredients to suit personal taste and or dietary requirements,
you can show off to all your mates who eat from the microwave Loll

Cons for homemade,
sometimes can take a while
sometimes ingredients are hard to find.
recipes can often be hard to follow
some meals cost more than the pre made variety
and sometimes they just don't taste as good as the shop bought ones!! (in my own experience)

pros for buying premade or shop bought
they can be cheap
fast
easy to cook
ready as soon as you are
flavorsome

cons for buying premed or shop bought
they usually have masses of salt and hidden sugars
they are not as nice as home cooked
say you buy for a family of 4 you often end up paying 3 times as much as you would have paid for fresh ingredients
they come in unescessary packaging

cant think of any more Lol I use both depending on my mood
say for instance spag bol I buy fresh mince and veggies but use a jar of sauce then add to that home made garlic bread

Store:

Pro: Convenient, buy exact quantity you required, save time; have it instantly.

Con: More expensive than homemade, contains preservatives, don't taste as good as homemade.

Go for the homemade. When you buy it from a store, sure it may be more convenient then home made cooking and sure it may save time, but do you know EXACTLY what they put in packaged food these days? All sorts of preservatives and chemicals. Plus, it doesn't taste nearly as good as homemade.
