Wedding cakes in america??
have you noticed that compared to the uk in america they have hundreds of different cake types and fillings for their wedding cakes, and usually covered in some sort of frosting? i seen them on wedding tv they look so mych better that what we get a choice of here plus their shops do tastings
here you mainly get a choice of chocolate. sponge(white) or fruit and most of our iced cakes have the heavy icing you roll out, although chocolate decotation is becoming more popular

I'm sorry to hear this!! You should take a class and go into cake decorating...sounds like you'd be the one and only to offer different cakes, and you could make a fortune!
1) Food is better in America. I'm not saying food in the UK is bad, but I'm saying the chances of getting a bad meal are WAY WAY lower in America. Almost anything you get tastes good. It's a scientific fact.
2) Do you really need to be talking about cake, from your picture you don't need anymore wedding cake. No offense.
*edit - Can't you take a joke? You're not fat anyway.
my friends wedding had a merange (not sure of spelling)wedding cake as she doesnt like sponge it was a really nice tower wedding cake you have to ask if you want something different
your right
I would ignore that first idiot. What a jerk!!
Anyway, fondant icing is not all that bad. Get chocolate cake with white fondant and ask for some raspberry cream in the center. Make em do it. Show them a recipe for the filling and make em do it. heheheheehe. Did you already have your wedding? If that's your pic, you did.
Wow, I hope that first person is really youre best friend and that was a joke between you two. I'M not even that rude, and I could make your grandma cry...
Note: I can't imagine who gave me a thumbs down...might as well give me two while you're at it, and I'll give you a finger of my own. I'll call out blatant rudeness everytime.
Nikiscorpio, that's a beautiful picture, and you're a beautiful bride.
I've noticed that too.
I guess in today's society the bride can pick whatever she wanted.
In Britain, the top layer (I think) is usually kept for the christening.
But I would imagine you know that.
Good luck with your business
