If new studies were done that name one food with complete nutrition?!

Question:

If new studies were done that name one food with complete nutrition?

Not only is it loaded with protein and iron, but all the vitamins and minerals your body needs, and is the perfect balance of calories, carbs, and fat. Everyone is eating it, and it's delicious with A-1. But it's human meat. Would you eat it? Would you feed it to your kids?

Answers:
I hear human tastes like swine...

No. I wouldn't want to increase the demand for it. I might be next on the dinner table.

Mmmmmm, soylent green.

No that is disgusting & in humane . If you stick to veggies & eat a vegan diet then you will have al the nutrients & vitamins your body needs without any meat .

No. Not unless I was literally starving.

there are other ways to get all that. why would you just want to eat one thing? that is so bland!

no, there are other foods that are healthy like that, you just have to mix them. that is just creepy

Er, sorry, but that's not how it works.

Human meat isn't any more 'complete' as nutrition for a human than any other mammal's meat would be.

Most people are actually deficient in quite a few vitamins and minerals, because modern lifestyles are so unnatural. We COPE with our environment, rather than being supported by it. So the production of humans containing the right balance of nutrients would be an expensive and difficult business.

Secondly, the form in which most nutrients are used inside the body is usually NOT the form that's most easily digested or absorbed. (Red meat is often described as a good source of iron, but it's not. You need plenty of vitamin C to help you absorb iron, but this is destroyed by the same cooking process that releases the iron from the meat proteins. Fresh, raw meat has lots of vitamin C, but it's difficult to digest. In Green vegetables, the vitamic C AND the iron are protected by the cellulose walls of the cells, so that (correctly cooked)they an excellent source of both.)

Some nutrients would only be found in organs like the intestinal lining or the brain, which are normally considered too disgusting to eat.

There are also lots of diseases that are very difficult to catch from other species, but which would be a huge risk if we ate other people. Farming people for food would involve dosing them with even more antibiotics than we already give to food animals; these chemicals become part of our diet too...

Eating other animals is safer than cannibalism; eating plants is safer still, and more nutritionally versatile.
