Where in the world eats shrubs?!

Question:

Where in the world eats shrubs?

Answers:
I guess that depends on what you mean by "eats shrubs."

In California, for example, we have an ornamental shrub called "Feijoa sellowiana" - common name is "Pineapple guava" and while it is largely used as a lovely ornamental shurb, in our region of the country it bears both edible fruit and edible flowers.
