Question:

For how many minutes an egg should be boiled without harming the nutrients.?

Answers:
my mother told me the perfect way to boil an egg. First you put eggs in a pot and cover with cool water. Cool not warm or hot. then bring to a boil on High. As soon as the water comes to a full boil, shut off heat and cover with a tight fitting lid. After 10 minutes they will be perfect. The shells wont stick and will be just right. No gummy or chewy whites and yokes are perfect. Works everytime!

8 minutes is standard to boil an egg.

i just bring the pot to a rolling boil and immediately turn it off and place a lid on it for about 10 min

10 minutes is the general rule for hard boiled eggs. I personally boil them for 12 minutes. Boiling them longer than that and you run the risk of scorching t hem.

when you peel the egg the yolk should be yellow on the outside and not grey. then you know it's done corrrect.
