Roasting marshmellows over a scented candle?!

Question:

Roasting marshmellows over a scented candle?

Is it bad to roast marshmallows over a bath and body works candle because of the chemicals that make the candle smell good?

Answers:
Sounds like the makings of a house fire!

I did it before and it didnt taste very good.

Probably no worse than roasting one over charcoal that has had lighter fluid used to get the fire started.

That's a funny question but I wouldn't do that if I were you though.

Yeah its bad. When any candle burns it releases carbon and all kinds of nasty things. Try roasting marshmellows over your stove top burner. I do this ALL the time and they turn out great! But if you have one of those electric flat tops, be careful, the sugars can stain it.
