Does anyone know......?!

Question:

Does anyone know......?

how to freeze bread without it having a funny taste or being hard when you unthaw it.

Answers:
I say it would be best to ensure the bag is securely closed before freezing. We bring loaves of bread home and immediately freeze all other loaves except one. Since they are bakery fresh, they are still fresh and the crusts are crusty when thawed. We leave out a loaf to thaw on the counter all day and there is no weird aftertaste. I don't know if it will work, but maybe you can try putting a block of baking powder in there to absorb weird scents, smells, and any other air that would make the bread taste weird after thawing.

keep it in the bag and make sure the bag is tightly shut so it stays airtight. when you want to thaw it, just leave it out on the counter. dont move it to the fridge because it makes it kind of stale tasting.
