Question:

Can you name some low calorie foods? Thanks!?

Answers:
There are so many, but I will list some of my favorites:

FRUIT
Apple
cantaloupe
honey dew melon
watermelon
Strawberries, blueberries, etc.

VEGGIES - Also can be eaten raw with a fat free dip
Green Beans
Cauliflower
Broccoli
Celery
Bell Peppers
Onion (scallions)
Tomatoes
Carrots (but in moderation)
Yellow squash - sauteed in tablespoon of olive oil
Zucchini "
Cucumbers (dill pickles)
Hot Pepper salsa (the green kind w/o sugar in it)
Green Salad w/ fat free dressing

PROTEIN
Low fat cottage cheese
Fat Free Milk
NO fat cheese (hop pepper most tasty)
Chicken breast cook without skin
Fish, any kind, broiled or grilled, not fried
Turkey Burgers grilled on Whole Grain Bun

DESSERT
Sugar Free Jello
Low fat, no sugar added ice cream (1/2 cup)
Sugar Free Angel food cake

So that's the best I can think of right now. Hope it gives you good ideas.

All fruit and veggies of course.

For snacks, I love pickles. They have virtually no calories. But, they have no nutritional value. Most homemade meals have low calories, just check. It's generally not the calories that are a problem in low calorie foods it the amount of food you eat. Barilla is making an enriched pasta now that has a ton of nutritional value, top with fresh veggies sauteed in 1 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp. of grated parm.

i have been told by people who are supposed to know this stuff that celery is actually net negative calories...it burns more calories to process the fiber than the celery contains.

too bad it couldnt be toll-house cookies or something...

I would think just a little thought, you are probably smart enough to come up with a pretty long list yourself. There are just too many to try to list here.
