Why do fruit juices label cartons suitable for vegetarians?!

Question:

Why do fruit juices label cartons suitable for vegetarians?

orange juice and other juices are labelled suitable for vegetarians does that mean that some are not?

Answers:
Some companies, such as Tropicana (not sure if they still do this, but they did) have been known to use a red carmine dye made from ground cochineal insects to enhance the color. It is mostly the pink or reddish juices; grapefruit, guava, etc.

Sometimes things like gelatin can be added to help thicken drinks and gelatin is animal based.

some might contain gelatin ?
or some other animal related fat .

nah fink it just labelling contracts or sumfin??? if they don't put it on there then the veg's would not buy it. i dunno. not bovvered anyway. drink it cuz i like it.
