Question:

Why are carrots green?

Answers:
Although most carrots we see are orange carrots come in many colors from black and purple to green and blended other colors!
Ever see a black carrot or an orange that's blood red?
.

You and MY son
It is the chlorophyll
And all your mom's fault..

carrots are orange, silly!

they are not green they are orange.

Due to chlorophyll (green colored substance with a same role in plants as red blood cells have in animals and humans and color human blood red among other functions)

they are ORANGE dumbass!!!!

for the same reason oranges are purple

Because bananas don't have any bones.

i thought they were orange

MOLD?

The carrot is a root. It should be completely embedded in the soil. When the top part is exposed to the light, it begins to support photosynthesis and retains more chlorophyll. That's where the green color comes from.
