Organic food regulations?!

Question:

Organic food regulations?

I am in the process of trying to switch over to organic foods and I just found some information here on Yahoo answers that says that some states allow some pesticides to be used and still qualify the food as organic. Is this true or someone's opinion stated as a fact? Or are they speaking of organic sprays?

Answers:
Check out the federal rules (USDA) for organic labeling.

I can't help you
I believe all FOOD is organic. Including pesticides..
It is just because they have ugly names.
YOU,, please define what you are referring to.
You do not believe any proof .
Go home and let us talk food.
After re-reading your question
Do you really have doubts about this ORGANIC dung or the casings from worms or that an extract from crushed beetles or some palm tree is going to harm you any more than smoking pot????
