Is this ground chuck any good?
I took a 1 pound package of ground chuck sealed in plastic out of the freezer this morning and put it in the counter to thaw. I just cheched it and it is almost completely warm, it thawed a lot faster than I expected it to. I need to know if it is any good since it got warm. It was out for at least five hours, frozen solid when I put it on the counter. Help?!

As long as you cook it soon, like right now, then you'll be fine. If it was frozen this morning and was only out for 5 hrs, then everyting is ok. For food safety it states that raw meats should never be left out for more than four hours at room temperature when the meat itself is also at room temperature. I've done it plenty of times, no worries!!

It should be fine. If you aren't going to cook it right away then make sure and put it in the fridge until you are. Next time make sure to thaw your burger(or any meat) in the fridge over night.
It will be fine if it was frozen solid this morning!! I have had this happen and never had any problems....I would just make sure to use it tonight...tomorrow at the very latest.
