Breakfast ..healthy?!

Question:

Breakfast ..healthy?

Whats a really healthy one i can buy/make?

Answers:
natural yoghurt with fresh fruit and granola is a favourite in our house, I also make my own granola (lasts forever in an airtight container) with oats, bran whatever dried fruit I fancy and then whatever your favourite nuts and seeds are, the more the better! then you can cover a handful of this with either milk or apple juice and stir in half a fresh grated apple, put it in the fridge overnight (covered) and in the morning just a dollop of natural yoghurt and a handful of fresh berries or bannana or whatever you have in. Sounds like a mission but it's the best breakfast I've ever had and healthy too!

smoothies are great for on the go meals. fresh fruit, non-fat yogurts, a little skim milk...peanut butter and banana is good, too!

kashi go lean cereal is great mixed w/ yogurt, too.

Most important meal of the day.Choose wisely

Honestly, anything. There have been numerous studies that show that eating breakfast makes you a better student/worker and a healthier individual. Dieters who eat breakfast are more likely to lose weight too.

Traditional breakfasts include oatmeal (even instant is good for you, better if you get the regular flavor and add your own raisins and stuff), eggs and toast or yogurt smoothies.

If breakfast food doesn't do it for you consider: leftovers from last night, a sandwich or some trail mix with your morning coffee/tea/OJ.

Oatmeal is probably the easiest thing you can make because it comes prepackaged and ready to cook. It's also very good for you because it has protein and fiber which work together to keep you full. Personally, I eat Kashi cereal in the morning. It's very high in protein and fiber, and now they make a new kind with flaxseed and almond that has omega-3-fatty acids. Very tasty and very nutritious.

how about Wheaties that is a good cereal
