fried chicken

Official state foods:
Kansas has three edible state symbols: Honeybee (not the bee! the honey is delicious), American Buffalo, and Native Sunflower (seeds).

I don't think that Kansas has a state food. However, you could try a Yahoo Search: official Kansas state food
for more information.

Good luck.

My personal choice for Kansas state food would be my Aunt Lona's fried chicken.

BBQ

Try this link. It looks promising but I didn't have time to completely check it out.

Good luck!!
