Is this alot to eat in one day for someone trying to lose weight?
oatmeal w/ cinnamon, mixed nuts, an apple, a pear, non fat yogurt, and some post grape nuts cereal.
Answers:
No but I can promise you you won't lose weight on that because it's practically all carbs. 1 apple alone has 17 carbs in it...
Who can tell ... you didn't give any amounts. And it isn't a balanced diet either.
um...no
No, actually it's too little. Try adding some fruit or veggies throughout the day...5 servings daily and drink plenty of water.
you should be fine. count calories. all of the foods have nutrition labels. (look up the fruits on a calorie counter.) and get some veggies in there!
also, make sure you're drinking lots of water. it helps flush your system
Dont starve yourself. You have to have one solid filling meal a day. These are all snacks. The trick is not to eat desserts, fast food, fried stuff and icecream, also fatty dressing. Keep this in mind and persue your passion in llife. Do this atleast for a year for your body to pick up the metabolic clues, and you will see results!
It doesn't sound like much. If you was a mouse, I'd say yeah, it's a lot
is this your breakfast? or the whole day.
I would suggest a big breakfast with oatmeal, fruit and yoghurt. water between meals, lunch a salad with lean protein and a wholegrain roll.
water between meals again.
lean protien, and salad / steamed vegetables for dinner and a low fat low sugar dairy dessert.
lean protein includes steamed/canned fish, poached grilled chicken, lean red meat with all visible fat removed. chick peas, lentils, low fat cheeses like cottage, ricotta and quark.
tofu, beans and legumes.
How many mixed nuts are we talkin here? And did you put whole/soy/skim milk in the oatmeal? These sorts of details are important in terms of daily calories.
No matter what, you are on the right track with the kinds of foods you are eating (fruit, oats, yogurt), but you absolutely need to add vegetables, preferably raw or steamed. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables will not only make you thinner, it will make your skin look better and give you more overall energy.
I'm not pretending to be a diet authority. I'm just a person who has lost and kept off weight, cleared up my skin and kicked coffee by eating a diet heavy in raw fruits and vegetables.
I AM A DIABETIC AND YOU NEED A DIET THAT IS BASED ON YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL. SEE A DOCTOR OR DIETITIAN .BASED ON YOUR HEALTH YOU NEED EXERCISE AND PROPER MEALS.
No. This is really too little to eat. It is also not balanced. This is all fat sugar and carbs. healthier forms of it, but still not balanced.
you have no dark leafy veggies, you have practically no protien. Consult a doctor for a balanced plan.
Think HEALTHY body , not just starving body. You need the right fuel to be able to burn fat effectively .
wheres your protein and green vegetables.
youre going to get sick.
It sounds pretty good, what did you drink a long with them? You need to drink liquids as well as eating.
