3 energy drink questions?

are energy drinks good for you?
if there not why do so many people drink them?
and why do they have no effect on me i can drink like 2 and they wont give me a lot of energy like they do other ppl

Answers:
Energy drink to a limited extent is good. Your body will reject extra energy drink if it is unable to absorb.
If the Emery drink you are taking does not agree with your body you will not find any effect. Further you need to do lots of exercise in order to absorb energy drink.

They do affect you but the effect is different on different ppl, it is the same with me for example i dont feel the "energy", but i tell you if i drink 2 redbuls i wount go to bed before 3-4 in the morning

They are not good for you, and possibly bad for you. The "energy" they provide is mostly in the form of caffeine and sugar.
Why do so many people drink them? Great marketing, some have good taste, sugar rush, placibo effect...are all reasons. Why do so many people smoke?

Everyone reacts differently to things, so you may have a high tolerance to sugar/caffeine or you may be expecting something that isn't coming.

Well the Mayo Clinic says:
"The risks of energy drinks
Sports medicine experts advise you to be cautious with energy drinks that claim to boost your strength and endurance. These drinks aren’t regulated or standardized, so it’s hard to know what you’re getting. You’re better off eating a healthy diet and staying well hydrated during exercise.

Consider these points if you choose energy drinks:

Many of these beverages are high in carbohydrates and contain excessive amounts of caffeine and other stimulants.
Some of them contain amino acids, protein and other ingredients in such small amounts that they won’t do you any good.
Some ingredients may interfere with medications.
Drinks that contain risky herbs such as ephedra could be life-threatening.
Depending on their ingredients, some energy drinks may be dangerous when combined with alcohol.
Some contain substances that may prevent you from properly absorbing nutrients and cause intestinal problems.
Remember that no beverage can replace getting enough sleep, training properly and leading a healthy lifestyle."

I think that they are addicting. You become addicted to the caffeine in them. Caffeine withdrawal can give you massive headaches.
I only drink them in place of coffee or a coke when I need to stay awake(like a long drive)

i think it matters what kind of person you are...they help a lot of ppl out!!! So do i so everyone else can stick that in there juice box and suck it!!!

There are Energy Drinks which are better for you than others. Most energy drinks contain lots of sugar, and therefore lots of carbs. They also have very high levels of caffeine. If you look closely at the labels you will see what I mean. You will want to make note of how many servings in the can. I have seen ones that at first glance look fair, until I notice they have 3 servings in the can. 20G of sugar X 3 = 60G, can you say crash and burn.
My husband & I drink one we buy online call Xs Energy drinks. They have zero sugar, zero Carbs, and taste great. Xs drinks give you enery for B vitamins, which means no crash. There are eight flavors, with three having a caffeine-free option for those who want to cut down. Those that do have the same amount as a cup of coffee. here is the website we get them from:
