Does anyone else ever feel this way? PLEASE HELP!?!

Question:

Does anyone else ever feel this way? PLEASE HELP!?

When I eat certain fruits/vegetables, namely carrots or bananas, my throat gets really itchy and scratchy. I don't eat carrots or bananas anymore, but even watermelon, oranges, and just about every fruit and veggie imaginable do this to me...anyone else experience this? Thanks!

My wife had the same problem, she also broke out in a rash around her mouth. We discovered that it's pesticides/herbicides. She hadn't eaten melons for a long time because of this problem and I suggested she try an organic melon -- she did... usually she gets an instant reaction... nothing, she at the whole thing and nothing happened. There you go. If you think that you may have an allergy to carrots, for example... I don't think it's possible to be allergic to the actual carrot itself. That would be unheard of. Try my suggestion and see what happens.

I'm not sure why it happens but Carrots do it to me also, So do cashews, milk, accually lots of foods make my throat itch... I dont know why.

your having a mild allergic reaction. there are medications that can allow you to eat fruit.

It could be a allergy. My husband gets a scratchy throat from carrots and bananas due to allergys

not really, but my throat gets real dry if I eat an apple, sometimes I even choke on it

Bananas and citrus fruits do it for me. It's an allergy. Sometimes over the years an allergy will lessen, sometimes they worsen. See a doctor to pinpoint the exact cause. He can prescribe meds.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY,YOU SHOULD GET SOME TESTS DONE.

U need to see a doctor and have test run ,food allergy can be dangerous !
