I grew up with Nacho Cheese Doritos dipped in sour cream. The fat in sour cream actually helps your body to release less insulin after eating the carby chips. Not that it matters, they're just good.
Try dipping french fries in sour cream, it is great. Just not too much or you will get heavy.
