its got iron in it which helps make blood as its high in haemoglobin and white meat has more saurated fat and hydrogenated fat which causes heart disease if eaten in high quantities so hope i helped

One reason is because the red meat is higher in iron. I learned this from personal experience because of some health issues I have been dealing with the past 10 years. But if it's fat you are worried about then white meat like chicken tend to be better unless you can find organic beef or something similar.

RED MEAT IS GOOD FOR THE BLOOD,BUT IS VERY BAD FOR CHOLESTEROL,SO DONT EAT TOO MUCH,A COUPLE OF TIMES A WEEK IS GOOD FOR YOU.

it depends on what red meat and what white meat you are eating by white meat i assume you mean pork either one has to be very lean and one of the better cuts

Red may be good coz of the high protein content but very bad for health rather white meat is good easy to cook and easy to digest

I totalaly disagree that red is better than white. Though it may be good for the iron in the blood, it is very bad for cholesteral, triglyicerides, and if you have arthritus or the gout, the doctors will tell you that limit your red meat intake and go towards the white, such as chicken, fish, turkey

Turkey is white meat and too often may be associated with healthy eating but turkey is NOT a health food. The meat industry may possibly have tricked consumers into believing white meat may be better for you than red meat yet, like red meat, turkey may also contain fat, bacteria and contaminants.

Neither white nor red meat contain fiber, complex carbohydrates or vitamin C, all of which our bodies need. Is it possible that eating any kind of meat may lead to health problems like cancer, strokes, heart disease and/or diseases of our other vital organs if we consume too much of it?

The meat industry has also been accused of trying to get meat-eaters to think of pork as "the other white meat". Pork may be the furthest thing from healthy eating compared to all other available meats.
