Cannoli Shells?!

Question:

Cannoli Shells?

First, does anyone know if they are sold in common grocery stores these days or would I have to go to a specialty store or bakery?

Second, depending on the answer above, does anyone know any good online bakeries that will sell/ship cannoli shells?

There are no good italian bakeries near me, and I have a craving.

Thanks.

Answers:
Sometimes you can find them in grocery store bakeries. If you have an italian restaurant nearby they sometimes sell just the shells by the dozen. I have done that before because I love to make my own cannoli filling...and have made my own shells...need marsala wine and the metal tubes for that though...it is work..but come out sooo good. Luckily I have a good Italian restaurant here that makes them like I use to get them in Jersey! Good luck!

You can buy them here.... http://www.pastrychef.com/cannoli-shells...

some well stocked grocery stores will carry them. You probably would have better luck with a specialty store.
The only place that I know of is Guiliano's Delicatessen and Bakery in Torrance California. They make AWSOME cannoli. I know they sell the shells, they may be willing to ship them, just give them a call : (310) 540-2500
The manager is Tony, he is a really nice guy!
