Is there an ingreident that come from the pig that u use in jello?
if there is what is it
Answers:
Yes it's called gelatin. Which is made from decaying animal hides which include beef and pig. These hides are kept in a large pile until they putrefy. Then they are put into large vats of lime and processed further. They also use bones and hoofs from different animal. Again this includes the pig. They use this because of the substance called collagen. After the full process the product is sent to different manufactures for fillers, thickeners etc. It is used in jello and marsh-mellows also. It should come in at least two types. Type A & B , type A, porcine and type B, (Kossher) beef. It is also used in dry (Powdered) soup, are the vegetarian buying dry vegatable soup buying an animal product, or eating jello?

The gelatin they use can come from pigs, although they use all kinds... they cant tell you that it is not since they use whatever the supplier ships them, but some of the gelatin is made using pigs (hooves).
