Uses for fruit juice pulp?!
Uses for fruit juice pulp?
I have a joice extractor, and after use i am left with pulp which i throw into the bin. Is there any alternate uses for it?
Answers:
Leftover apple pulp can be used in baked goods such as breads, muffins and brownies as oppsoed to sugar.
Leftovers from carrots, tomatoes, zucchini and garlic can be saved and added to meatloaf, various soups or to make vegetable broth. (though that straining process is difficult!). Those types of leftovers are also quite good in casseroles.
If you have a lot of fruit pulp left (like pineapple, strawberries, cantalope, etc) you can add a bit of juice to it and then stick it in the freezer and make a nice sorbet.
I've used the fruit pulp to put on top of my plain cereals - like Cheerios, oatmeal or cornflakes.
You can always compost it in or near your flower bed!
I hope those help!
