Storing food in a microwave keeps it fresh. Why is this?

Try it yourself with fruit or bread - it really works! I saw it suggested somewhere on the web. But how?!

My grandma always stored her bread and pastries in her microwave! She swore it kept them fresh longer, and now I believe her! That video is so helpful! I can't believe the guy has multiple microwaves just to store his food in! lol! But everything they say makes sense! I will have to try it with my bread and see if it works! And I love the banana trick! Thanks for the info!

Oxygen deprevation.

this isn't true if u leave food in the microwav e it can spoil so i wouldn't reccomend doing this.

because its air tight maybe, as it would be too cook normally.

Maybe if the room temperature is cold.

dont know the answer to this, but it does work in the short term. have been doing it for years!

i seriously doubt that you can do this as microwaves has ventilation holes and its the air atmosphere that spoils food
