Looking for the name of a french creampuff cake?!

Question:

Looking for the name of a french creampuff cake?

I thought it was called something like piece montagne. I had it at a wedding and it was delicious!

Answers:
I think you are talking about a cake made with profiteroles called a croquembouche. they actually call this type of cake a pièce montée (mounted pieces in French) because you make it by assembling those delicious little profiterole puffs. but the actual name is a Croquembouche and it is often served at weddings in France. profiteroles are also used as the outer wall of Gateau St-Honorés. Yummmm!

are you speaking of maybe an eclair cake.

Sounds like an eclair cake, just like the other person said. Sorry I cant help you much!
