Is it safe to eat blubber?!

Question:

Is it safe to eat blubber?

Answers:
Sure. Thought usually it's made into oil or soap, or at least it was once. It's just fat basically so it can be eaten. Probably not the healthiest thing to have in your diet but it's not poisonous or anything.

Alaskans eat blubber so I guess if you want to then it would be fine, depends on what your taste is.
^..^

What is good for an inuit, it cannot be bad for you.

Yes, there is no harm in eating it.

i would say it's not too bad for you. definatley full of fat....but the escimos eat and they're alive

Well that depends on what you mean when you say "blubber". I just found out that that word has various definitions. If you are planning on eating people's fat, well then go ahead. I'm sure you'll be ok. Now if you're talking about whale fat or whatever it is, then that would probably be safer.

I don't think it is the healthiest but Alaskans eat it all the time. I don't think Alaskans have a long life expectancy though. I guess if you want to try it, go ahead. It is nothing that I want to try. Don't worry though, blubber won't kill you. If you like it, keep eating it. Just remember it is fat so it isn't really good for you. By the way, have you tried blubber?
