What to take on a picnic?!

Question:

What to take on a picnic?

I am auctioning off a picnic basket. What non-perishable food should I put in it?

Answers:
A mouse. It would be SO funny!!!!

Seriously, though, you could put a disposable camera in it. (I know it's not food, but it would help the cute couple by creating some memories that they can show others).

Bread sticks, A cured ham or sausage. Bottle of wine. Crackers and a jelly or preserve spread. dont forget something sweet, even if its just a gormet chocolate bar. Scones and Muffins are also great. A thermos for soups, or hot drinks is nice.

chips, can tuna, can chicken, crackers, bottle drinks ,beef jerky, can beans just anything canned or even boxed stuff, like pastas or rice.

Pringles, not-opened salsa with tortilla chips, not opened pop, things like that, throw in a traditional red and white checkered blanket to keep it interesting

Wine/sparkling cider, Hickory Farms Meats and cheeses, spreads, crackers, fruit (pears, apples) assorted olives, nuts
Pretzels, dips

Wine or sparkling grape juice, dried salami, crackers, pasta, olive oil and flavored vinegar, can of artichoke hearts or a jar of marinated artichoke hearts, jars of fancy olives, jar of roasted red peppers, a packaged salad kit or a small box of croutons, tins of sardines or anchovies, smoked oysters, packaged or canned crab, smoked salmon...these would all be lovely!
A candle, tablecloth, and nice linen napkins would also be a nice touch!
Oh! and what about some dried fruits? Those would be nice too! And some chocolate of course!
