Alligator?!

Question:

Alligator?

Where in florida can you eat alligator and how much does it cost? is it unhealthy and how does it taste?

Answers:
I don't know about Florida, sorry, but in Kenya (East Africa) there is a place called "Carnivores" where you can get crocodile meat. They also serve other game meat like wild pig, gnu, antelope, etc. These are animals that have been legally culled.
The meat is roasted in open pits using wood as fuel. When ready, the chefs bring the meat (still skewered on the spits) from table to table, cutting off as much as you want straight on to your plate.
Cost is not known because this place caters mostly to tour groups and the cost is included in the tour price. Vegetarians are offered a non-meat dinner.
Unhealthy or not, it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed!
As for the taste it was like sweet chicken meat. The Malays have a unique word for this. It is "lemak". I believe we were served meat from the tail section of the crocodile.
