Where would I go to give a company an idea for a candy bar, to market?!

Question:

Where would I go to give a company an idea for a candy bar, to market?

I have a great idea for one, but I'm not sure where I can go to present it. Thanks!

Answers:
call hershey or mars corp. and find out who you should talk to. let them buy your idea, then get out.

a candy bar company of course, snickers, baby ruth, just go there with your concept and have materials ready if needed. :)

It is very difficult to market a product. I have tried. It costs to get noticed.
Never show anything to anyone who has not signed a nondisclosure agreement. But if you have not the money to sue, they help little.
I believe that it must be done through an agent.

Which country are you from? Each country have their own big supermarket chain like Tescos in U.K. and Carrefour in France, and alot of big ones in the USA. Its a good idea to approach them so they can package it under their own brand and market them on their shelves. If you can really email the highest person of the company it would help alot. He should be the person who can direct you to the correct department. If you try to approach a certain person or department, they sometimes just ignore your email.

get a patent first! they can steal your idea and not pay.you′ll need a lawyer probably!
good luck

make sure you get a patten so no one can get your idea..... then check out the candy bar lables of what company they use ....check each one out choose the company you want....make sure you got your copy right first

Initially, contact the patent office. They can tell you where to proceed from there.
But, if you don't care about getting the credit, you could probably make a legal agreement with one of the big 3 and have them consider it, ie M&M Mars, Hersey, Nestle.
